"DETAILED INSIGHTS INTO FLORA'S LOVE LIFE“

An exhibition of detailed views of the reproductive organs of flowering plants from the tropics that Humboldt traveled to. Some of the images were published and awarded in the "Pictorial Atlas of Flowering Plants" in 2018.

Tropical greenhouse of the Botanical Garden in Planten un Blomen, accessible only on foot (about 5 minutes from Dammtor station and Stephansplatz subway station).

Tour of the exhibition with Angela Niebel-Lohmann:

The flower structure of plants determines who can be their pollinator. A tour of the exhibition: "Detailed insights into Flora's love life" will introduce various tropical plants and their animal pollinators.
