Special exhibition: Eocene - At the beginning of our world
With the exhibition "Eocene- At the Beginning of Our World", we travel with you to a time in Earth's history when the animal and plant world had to evolve anew: only a few million years earlier, an asteroid wiped out most of life on Earth, bringing a temporary end to evolution. The Eocene tells of the new beginning - a period from 56 to 34 million years ago in which mammals and birds took over from the dinosaurs and thus laid the foundation for today's biodiversity. The special exhibition will initially start digitally and run until 23 January 2022.
