Diversity of gastrotriches

Gastrotrichs from different regions are studied and new species are sporadically described, mostly in collaboration with Alexander Kieneke (Wilhelmshaven) and Rick Hochberg (Lowell, USA). The NSF (USA) funded project "An International Approach to the Biodiversity, Biogeography and Evolution of Caribbean Gastotricha", in which gastrotrichs from the Bahamas were studied, was particularly productive.
