Name: | "Vondechenite" As a result of new investigations on the hitherto poorly characterized mineral calumetite, the IMA (International Mineralogical Association) determined that calumetite is identical to vondechenite. According to the rules of the IMA, the established name is given priority and thus the name vondechenite is discredited. IMA Proposal 18-C (March 2019) is accepted, and calumetite is redefined |
