Anna-Sophie Springer is a freelance exhibition organizer and author. Since 2011 she runs the artistic publishing project K. in Berlin. Through a fluid approach to images, artifacts and texts, she is dedicated to the emergence of new geographical, physical and cognitive contexts - where archives and the book-as-exhibition play a central role and curatorial, publishing and ethnographic practices are often interwoven. Dr. Etienne Turpin is a philosopher and research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and also runs the design research studio he founded, anexact office (Berlin and Jakarta). With freelance curator and publicist Anna-Sophie Springer, he has been working on biodiversity loss and land use since 2013 as part of their joint research initiative Reassembling the Natural. Since 2014, the two have also been editing the publication series intercalations: paginated exhibition, which is published as a cooperation between K. Verlag and the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in the context of the "Anthropocene Project".
