Lack of accessibility
The main entrance to the museum is accessed via two steps. A side entrance provides barrier-free access to the ground floor; please speak to a member of the museum staff. A flight of stairs leads up to the gallery. There is no elevator in the museum.

Food and drink may not be brought into the exhibition or consumed there.
Unfortunately, the museum does not have its own catering facilities. However, the museum is situated in the university quarter. There are numerous cafés and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
There is no museum shop in the mineralogical exhibition.
However, donated minerals are available for purchase.Photography without a flash is permitted in the museum for private, non-commercial purposes.
