Ricinulei are a small order of arachnids with roughly 40 described species. These animals occur in leaf litter habitats in tropical western Africa and America but are always elusive and never collected in great numbers. The cuticle of these animals is heavily sclerotized and the second pair of legs is elongated to be used as a tactile organ. The LIB collection comprises a single animal only.
