As part of Hamburg Sustainability Week, the Hamburger Kunsthalle and the Museum der Natur Hamburg are offering an exciting interdisciplinary guided tour for anyone aged 16 and over.
In the tandem tour, Prof. Dr Andreas Schmidt-Rhaesa and Dr Lilian Adlung-Schönheit present the diversity of nature - specifically the invertebrate animal group - and open up new ways of seeing. Through dialogue, visitors are encouraged to take a closer look at unfamiliar forms of appearance, reflect on their own patterns of perception and rediscover nature beyond familiar images. This creates a deeper understanding of the importance of scientific collections and a sharpened eye for the often overlooked but central diversity of life.
