Public lecture series: Modern dinosaur research

What new insights can we still glean from ancient dinosaur bones? A surprising amount, as demonstrated by this year’s lecture series ‘Modern Dinosaur Research’, organised by the Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein in Hamburg in October and November.

In particular, the methods used in palaeontology have advanced tremendously in recent years. Five experts from Germany will now provide an insight into just how diverse and cutting-edge modern dinosaur research is, and what exciting discoveries can be made using the latest methods to analyse bones that are millions of years old.

The lecture series is aimed at anyone who would like to learn how modern high-tech methods and new geological approaches are fundamentally changing our understanding of dinosaurs and their habitats.

A lecture series organised by the Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein in Hamburg.
