Every day we read in the newspapers about the threat to biodiversity and the extinction of species; species become extinct every day. There are many different reasons for these processes. Using the example of the rhinoceros, the giant tortoise, the Amur leopard and other animals, the causes of their endangerment are analysed and protective measures explained. Based on their knowledge of the causes of species endangerment, participants can then draw up a list of conservation measures that they consider suitable for their own actions, e.g. at school.
