Humans and the animal world are often in a fateful interplay with each other. Blind and visually impaired people explore this field of tension with all their senses in the collection of the Museum of Nature - Zoology. This guided tour is primarily aimed at blind and visually impaired people with swell copies, animal specimens and figures, smuggled "trophies", whale beards, skull casts and other tactile or acoustic objects and elements. Where do the exhibits come from? How are dead animals prepared? Immerse yourself in the vast world of whales and find out what marine mammals have in common with bears. Specially trained guides will lead the small group through the collection. This programme is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
